Roger has a broad experience back-ground in Orthopedic Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine and Family Practice Urgent Care. Roger has over 35 years of clinical, surgical, physiology and multi-role approaches to pain and its treatment. He went to Western Illinois University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education, and to Athletic Training as a State of Illinois Representative Scholar. He then challenged his education further and returned to Western Illinois University and graduated with High Honors with his Master of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology and Developmental Adapted Physical Education.
Then in 1998, Roger applied to and was accepted to the Inaugural class of Primary Care Physician Assistant at South College in Savannah Georgia where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Primary Care Medicine Cum Laude. He worked as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant for two practicing Orthopedic Surgeons and headed on the Mayo Clinic’s non-surgical employees and their dependents orthopedic care. Roger found a strong desire for helping patient with pain and understands that not every patient is the same and works to find the root cause of every patients pain to ensure they are treated correctly to improve quality of life for all. In his off time Roger loves Music, Bow hunting, and volunteering in pet shelters within the community.
